（之六）大失所望 Disappointed by Game Choices

4 天的时间很快就过去了，我们满怀希望地期待着轮到我们买票的那一刻。Lucy一早就坐在电脑前，信用卡也拿出来了，我站在她身后紧张地看着。

这一刻终于到来了。Guess what？你猜怎么了？当我们进入奥运票务网站时，发现门票己经差不多卖完了，所剩无几。什么开幕式、闭幕式、游泳比赛呀等等，通通没有，全被抢光。我们这几天所做的工作，前功尽废，真是令人大失所望！尽管我们浏览了网站很长时间，我们仍然找不到我们喜欢的票。

唯一剩下的就是一些路线较长、能容纳很多人看的，和不太刺激的项目。比如冲浪比赛，要去海边看，但是我们也看不懂；自行车比赛，长途山上转来转去。马拉松比赛，太长时间。拳击比赛，我又不太喜欢。找到了一项田径比赛，但是每张门票690欧元，太贵了，我不太想买。该怎么办？现在买票还是不买？

买，一定要买！不买就等于没有得去看奥运。不管什么都好，去凑个热闹吧。正如跃玲所讲的一样，“热门项目的入场券中标渺茫。结果可以入场的没有多少观赏价值，只是凑个热闹而已”。

幸运的是，我们最终找到了三场足球比赛。只有一场是男子足球，其他两场都是女子足球。好在我和老公都是足球迷，足球就足球吧，凑个热闹也好。确实验证了当初我和儿子的那些对话 “看打足球，（冇洩底）”。

48 小时的买票时间终于过去了，我们怀着这种迷芒的心情，结果了这一次买票。

(Part 6) Disappointed by Game Choices

Four days were over very quickly and we looked forward with high hopes to the moment when it was our turn to buy tickets. Lucy sat in front of the computer early morning, and the credit card was also taken out. I stood behind her, watching anxiously.

That moment had come! Guess what? As soon as we signed in to the Paris 2024 Official ticketing website, we found out that tickets were almost sold out and there were very few left, no opening ceremony, no closing ceremony, no swimming competition, etc. It's a pity that all our efforts these days came to nothing! Even though we browsed the website for a while, we still couldn't find a ticket that we liked.

What's left are some races with long routes that can accommodate a lot of people, or races that are not very exciting. For example,

Surfing competitions: we have to go to the beach to watch, we also don't understand the game
Bicycle competitions: long distances around the mountains
Marathon, the time is too long
Boxing, I don't like to watch it much.

Found one track and field competition, but it was £690 per ticket, too expensive for me. So, what will we do? Buy them or not?

Yes, we must buy! If we don't buy, we have no chance of going to Olympics. Whatever it was, let's join in the fun. As a friend said, "Tickets for popular events are rarely drawn through lottery, and even if they are drawn, there is not much viewing value, just to join in the fun."

Fortunately, we ended up finding three football games. One was men's football and the others were women's football. Luckily, my husband and I are football fans. Whether it's football or just joining in the fun, we are good to be involved. It really matches the conversation I had with my son, “… watch all the football games and nothing else.”
