（之九）新的行程

记得上次讲到我们的奥运行程，有了新的插曲。就是将原来的计划：专程去看奥运，顺便去欧洲旅游，改成：专程去欧洲旅游，顺便去观看奥运。那么我们应该怎样去好呢？

我喜欢去旅行，但又害怕辛苦。如果每天拖着行李，且又要换酒店住宿，我会感觉很累。 于是，Lucy提出了一个方案， 就是坐游轮。先乘飞机到欧洲，再从欧洲坐游轮。她真的为我这个老妈着想呀！有了游轮，我们就不用每天拖着行李换酒店了。 我们可以天天住在同一个房间，早上吃了早餐下船玩，晚上回来后还可以吃歺饱饱的才舒舒服服地去睡觉。当第二天早上醒来时，将会有一个新的景点和另一个国家在等待着我们。 多么美妙！

Lucy把我们的想法分享了给她在麻省理工学院读书时的室友和同学。没想到，他们马上同意，而且行动得比我们更快。他们一下子就找到了一艘正好在巴黎奥运会开幕之前的游船。真是天助我也！坐游轮看奥运。超好的！Lucy的学友办事也真快，在我们还在讨论着订那种房间的时候，他们已经把船票订好了。在2023 年 3 月 16 日，我们也预订了游轮。我们有新的行程!

(Part 9) New Itinerary

I remember the last time we talked about our Olympic plan, there was a new episode in our trip. It is to change the original plan: make a special trip to watch the Olympic Games, and travel to Europe along the way, to: make a special trip to travel to Europe and watch the Olympics along the way. Now what should we do?

I love to travel, but I'm afraid of hard work. If I drag my luggage to change hotels every day, I will feel very tired. So Lucy came up with a plan to take a cruise! Fly to Europe first, then take a cruise in Europe. She really takes care of me! With the cruise, we don't have to drag our luggage to change hotels. We would stay in the same room, have breakfast in the morning, disembark and play, and come back in the evening. We also can have a nice dinner before go to bed. When we wake up next morning, there will be another country waiting for us and new sights. How wonderful!

Lucy shared our thoughts with her MIT roommates and classmates. Surprise, they agreed right away, and acted faster than us. They found a cruise ship before the opening of the Paris Olympics. The Heavens help us! Watching the Olympics after taking a cruise! So good! Lucy's friends were quick, they booked the cruise tickets but we still discussed what kind of room to book. On Mach 16, 2023, we booked our cruise. Now we have our new itinerary!
