问题多多，难以选择

(2023年2月27日-3月3日）

奥运的圣火开始在我们的心中燃烧，我们满怀激情地开始了4天的购票准备工作。

原来，这个准备工作却不容易，没完没了，问题多多，很难做出选择。

看哪些比赛项目？

这个话题很大，也是第一个讨论的问题。想看什么呢？我说，“我喜欢看高台跳水”，Lucy 回答

“一跳下去就看完了，散场！”。（甘都得？）哈哈哈……。

我说“看打足球，一场起码有三四个小时，够长，（冇洩底”）。儿子Victor 答 “那你就场场去看吧，把钱鑽回来”。（是着数呀，）哈哈哈……。“看上届冠军游水”，我先生吴山说，“他可能退休”，（激气。） “看竹杆跳高”，“晒S你”。……到底看什么好呀？”真是乱糟糟，没完没了，Stuck。

看开幕式闭幕式？

差些漏了，看开幕式还是闭幕式？我认为开幕式好看，Lucy 却认为闭幕式更好看。（是吗？我不这样认为。）我总觉得，不论是任何运动比赛，运动员进场的那一刻是特别激动人心。游行也是，游行队伍出场的那一刻，人们特别兴奋，记者和电视机的镜头总是对着他们。你们有没有同感？那么，是不是开幕式和闭幕式都看？stuck again。

比赛时间和城市？

问题又来了！整个奥运会的比赛，不仅仅是局限于巴黎，而是遍及整个法国。不同的比赛，有不同的场所和不同的地点。就算定出了要看的项目也要看开赛时间和地点，总不可以上午在巴黎看，下午又要坐火车或飞机去到另一个城市看，然后晚上又回到巴黎。stuck again。

Lucy发给我的电邮（工作）

2月28日，我收到Lucy 发过来的一条网站连接线。是什么？是所有比赛项目时间，地点，和价钱。“妈咪你先定”，够孝顺了吧？打开一看，九十六页，头都晕了。

不久再收到一条连接线。又是什么？是欧洲地理位置和名胜古迹介绍。“看看你喜欢去哪里参观”，又够孝顺了吧？原来连欧洲地理历史都要学习！

不管怎样，总得准备。到时执生吧！

Too much thinking, no decisions

(February 27-March 3, 2023)

The Olympic torch begins to light in our hearts, and we started four days of ticket preparation with excitement.

The preparation turned out not to be easy, it was endless and difficult to choose because there were so many things to decide.

What games would you like to watch?

This is a huge topic and the first one to be discussed. What would you like to watch?

I said, "I love watching diving," but Lucy said,

"As soon as the athletes jump, the game is over!" Haha...

I said, "Watching football, a game takes at least three to four hours, which is long enough!".

My son Victor replied, "Then you'd better watch the football games and nothing else." Haha...

"Watch the famous swimmer from USA."

My husband Shan said, "He might retire", Haha…

"Watch the high jump", "May get sunburned from sitting outside"....

Which game is worth watching? What a mess, never ending! We were stuck.

Watch the opening or closing ceremonies?

I almost forget to tell you this topic, watching the opening or closing ceremonies? I though the opening ceremony is very exciting, but Lucy thought the closing ceremony may be even better.

Really? Was the closing ceremony even better? I don't think so. I always feel that no matter in any sports competition, the moment when athletes enter the field is particularly exciting. The same goes for parades. The moment when the parades come out, people are so excited, reporters and TV cameras are on them all the time. Do you have the same feeling? So, was it good to watch both the opening and closing ceremonies? We were stuck again.

Game times and cities?

Here comes another topic! The entire Olympic competition is not limited to Paris, but to the all of France. Different games, different venues and different locations. Even what you can watch depends on when and where the games start. You can't watch a game in Paris in the morning, and take a train or plane to a far away city in the afternoon to watch another game, and then return to Paris in the evening. We stuck again and again.

Emails from Lucy (Giving me work!)

On February 28th, I received a link from Lucy's email to the site. What was it? It was the Olympic Games Ticketing Guide. "Mom, you decide first". Is she being a filial daughter? Yes, she is! I am grateful. When I clicked the link, 96 pages popped up in front of my eyes, making me dizzy.

I received her another email shortly after. What was that again? "See where would you like to go", Was she so nice to me? Yes, she is. It seems so. But actually, she made me study the geography and history of Europe because it was the maps and places of interest in Europe!

No matter, we have to prepare.
